Ⅰ.Introduction

Thank you for choosing DSP for your MTB suspension needs. This manual contains important information addressing warnings, item functions and directions for use. Please read this manual thoroughly before using. II. Caution

• When cleaning, use a clean and non abrasive cloth and/or fresh water. Do not use any corrosive solvents or chemicals when cleaning.
• Never use your bike with 100psi ± 20psi in seat post air chamber. Doing so can damage your seat post, requiring repairs that are not covered under terms of the warranty.
• If the product is in need of service, please contact info@dspracing.com or DSP Racing for a list of service centers near you. Any repairs or servicing done outside service centers voids warranty and may cause injury to user during disassembly and damage to product.
• Having your Bighorn Adjustable seat post not setup properly may cause unwanted feel and operation. Adjust seat post for rider preference and terrain by calibrating and testing in an open and safe area before riding.

III. Installation

• Prior to installation, ensure your seat tube diameter conforms to the diameter of Bighorn seat post in 30.9”, 31.6”, or 27.2”.

• Make sure your frame is clean and no debris or grease before inserting Bighorn seat post.

• Before insertion, please recheck air pressure is around 100psi ± 20psi as Full –extension.

1. Seat Installation
	Need to prepare hexagon wrenches in 2.5mm、3mm、5mm. Ensure the inside of the bike tube is clean and then slide the Bighorn seat post in smoothly. Bighorn seat post must be inserted into seat tube of bike, so it covers the indicated line for Minimum Insertion on the Bighorn seat post.(Fig.1) Adjust Bighorn seat post to the Full height during installation. Then, check to insure the lever direction is set up in the correct way for proper action. Adjust seat collar torque to recommended setting. The Maximal torque is 7N-m. (Fig.2) WARNING! Do not over torque your seat collar, or it may inhibit the function of your seat post.
2. Saddle Installation (Fig.3)
	Unscrew rail clamp bolt by using 5mm hex wrench.  Adjust the saddle angle (according to your preference)  Screw both rail clamp bolts using toque of 13~15N-m in clock-wise direction.
3. Remote Lever
	Remote Lever Installation (Fig.4) Insert the cable through the remote lever and Barrel Adjuster until the cable head rests in the slot. Recommended Torque 4-5N-m by 4mm hex wrench in clock-wise direction.
	Remote cable Installation (Fig.5)  Run cable through Cable Hosing and Adjuster Rod. Then, to move Adjuster Rod lower and use plier to clamp cable head when tighten calble screw by using 2.5 hex wrench. You can adjust Barrel Adjuster to tighten cable in slight adjustment.  Cut or bending remaining cable after leaving a reserved 50mm length.
	Remote Function Adjustment (Fig.6)  To Increase sensitivity: use 3mm hex to adjust the adjuster screw in clock-wise direction.  To Reduce sensitivity: adjust the adjuster screw in counter –clockwise

IV. Setup and Usage

• During the first use or the use after a long period of non-use, the Bighorn seat post may need a firm downward “Push” to start the initial movement.
• Please recheck the torque in seat tube collar and all locking screw. Before riding, please test your seat post in an open and safe area
• How to adjust your seat post:
  • Raise: First remove the weight from saddle and lift the Remote lever to the height you need. Release Remote lever to keep the height.
  • Lower: Lift the Remote lever and push down to the height you need , and then release Remote lever for keeping the right height.

V. Maintenance

• Routine maintenance of the Bighorn seat post will provide years of trouble-free performance.
• Every 3 months: Check air pressure, or sooner if you notice a significant decrease in saddle movement speed. Use a standard shock pump to check and increase/decrease air pressure between 100psi ± 20psi range.
• After one year or 150 hours: Have your local authorized service center or contact with DSP Racing directly.

VI. Warranty:

DSP Racing is not responsible for any damages resulting from use of our products. In the event that your product breaks or fails within one year of the date of purchase, DSP Racing shall have no liability further than the repair or replacement of your product in accordance with the terms defined in the warranty policy. But any damaged by improper usage or caused by rider errors will be covered in our warranty. VII. Easier Troubleshoot

Issue	Strategy
Can not fix saddle	Check rail clamp bolt has been tightened or not.
	Send back to authorized service center.
Leaking	Send back to authorized service center.
Seat Post can not back to top	Check air pressure if it is lower than 80psi.
	Check if the bike tube clamp is too tight, to loosen it.
Operation OK, but Stuck in certain area	Check if there are any blockage to effect cable operation.
	Send back to authorized service center.
No operation	Make sure air pressure is in the air chamber
	Recheck that the cable and cable screws are set up in proper position.
	Recheck the adjuster screw setting.
	Send back to authorized service center
Compression OK Return operation Fail	Make sure air pressure is in the air chamber
	Recheck the torque of seat tube collar

Luck function Fail	Recheck if it had tighten in seat tube collar

「Ambient temperature」 and 「Air pressure of seat post」 Reference chart	Air pressure of seat post will be varied by ambient temperature. Thus, please refer the following chart to recheck, and adjust the air pressure of your seat post back to standard psi: 100psi ± 20psi .
